Welcome to our community
Serving more than 1400 children in the Willamette Valley, we offer before & after school care, as well as early childhood education. Salem Child Development Center (SCDC) represents the gold standard in child care for Willamette Valley families.
Because we're a nonprofit, our focus is on your children, not our profit margins. Everything we do is for the benefit of the children and families in our programs, and by extension our community overall.
We Care
We are Salem's most trusted non-profit child care centers, with over 20 Salem area locations. Our goal is to provide parents with open, welcoming atmospheres to encourage and promote parent involvement and peace of mind. We work to develop a one-to-one relationship with each child and parent, communicating to the child that they are "cared about" as well as "cared for". We accomplish this by providing the best suited staff; qualified and dedicated to understanding the needs of children and their families.
